Why have a Singer at your Wedding?

 

Music is an essential to any Wedding Day. It will undoubtedly bring all your guests together to laugh, dance and sing along! Take any occasion and add music to the background and it makes it that bit more special.

It is very popular to have a singer during your Wedding Ceremony, Reception or during the Wedding Breakfast. This will help to create the perfect ambience at your Wedding, guests will sit back, relax, enjoy and everything will be that bit more magical. 

 

When is best to have a Singer during my Wedding?

 

During the ceremony: 

I am more than happy to accept any songs requests that you would like to be performed (your favourite song or your special couple song) and learn them unaccompanied, to a backing track or accompany myself on the acoustic guitar to sing during the ceremony. If you are unsure then I have a repertoire ready which you can choose from or get inspiration. Get in touch and I will discuss with you the most popular points to sing and we can taylor the music to your Ceremony.

 

During the reception:

At this time when you are away having your photos taken, it is nice to have a little background music to entertain your guests while they walk around discussing how beautiful the Bride looks! I can set up easily anywhere and sing a beautiful mixed acoustic sounding repertoire (Scottish, Jazz, Blues, Ballad and takes on popular music) which will be sure to have the guests tapping along and peacefully enjoying the day.

 

During the Wedding Breakfast:

This is my favourite part of a Wedding! Again I can set up anywhere and sing throughout the meal. Singing during the meal can add that special background atmosphere to the normal sounds of clinking and chatter. If you would like a special song sung for the cutting of the cake, please get in touch and I'll be happy to take requests or suggest some music.

I started singing when I was about 2 years old every day in Church! I realised I had a knack for learning music and it became a huge passion of mine. I have been playing violin and guitar for 10 years.

 

In my professional career, I have performed at many events, concerts and weddings.

I offer an acoustic sound set, accompanied by beautifully put together tracks of takes on modern songs through piano and guitar and at times accompany myself on the guitar. I also enjoy swing, Scottish, jazz, classical, modern and will of course take requests and consult with you to make sure we bring bespoke music to your Wedding  This can suit a wide range of Weddings and Ceremonies and is easy as you don't have to worry about providing anything!
